GET HIGH BEFORE GOING LOW INTO THE DON VALLEY- TORONTO
AVAILABILITY:
MTWThFSatSun: 11 AM
DURATION: 3 Hours
COST: $75 Per Person
WHERE WE WILL MEET: Toronto - 550 Bayview Ave, Toronto
DESCRIPTION:
Meet at Toronto's Evergreen Brickworks and we'll hike up to Governors Monument for skyline views from the north. You'll be able to gaze down into this former quarry and industrial site at naturalized ponds, colourful trees and trails.
We get high before walking along the abandoned train tracks (or alternative paved trail weather-dependent) through the Lower Don Parklands to Crothers Woods, open all year round. You might forget you're in the city all together as we circle through winding forest trail along the Don River until we cross over a bridge to meet the Lower Don River Trail.
You'll pass under multiple bridges as we head single-file through the valley until meeting Duane Linklater's Monsters for Beauty, Permanence and Individuality. Get as stoned as the gargoyle-esque sculptures you'll be hanging out with in this often-private open field art installation. Then head back up the trail to Evergreen!
Feel free to stay and explore all of Don Valley Brick Works Park or take the Beltline Trail along Mud Creek. There is an additional 2 hours of looped trail exploration to do, if you're motivated. You can also purchase a variety of curated products at the General Store style Evergreen Garden Market or grab a snack at Cafe Belong.
This tour offers several unique options for respectful and responsible consumption of cannabis. Please bring a water bottle, snacks and wear your walking shoes! Also ensure you dress for the weather.
